The Junior Ladies had a come-from-behind home win in their Championship opener with a two-point win over Cooraclare on Friday last 1-4 to 0-5.  Sinead Fox opened the scoring and then her goal in the 15th minute meant Kildysart were ahead by a single point at halftime, 1-1 to 0-3.  Cooraclare came out strong after the restart and tacked over 2 quick points to pull into the lead by the 40th minute.  Each side struggled for scores for the next quarter but a free from Niamh Moloney in the 24th minute drew the sides level again.  Sinead Fox, back on the field after an injury, pointed a free to put Kildysart in front again at full time, with stoppage time to come.  Sinead Kelly’s fisted effort in the 32nd minute gave the Blues the insurance point they needed.  Final score Kildysart 1-4, Cooraclare 0-5, ref Noel Quinn.
