⭐ Dillon Quirke Foundation Cardiac Screening – Thank You! ⭐
Our Club was very fortunate to have the Dillon Quirke Foundation set up a cardiac screening clinic in St John Bosco’s Secondary School yesterday, providing free cardiac screenings for 45 of our young athletes (aged 12–18).
The Foundation’s aim is to raise awareness and reduce the number of young people dying from SADS through a national cardiac screening programme, and we are proud to support this life‑saving work.
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to St John Bosco’s Secondary School and Seamus McQuaid for looking after us and providing the use of their excellent facilities on the day.
A huge thank you also to the parents of the 45 athletes who attended, as together we raised €1,300 for the Foundation. Your support helps ensure more young people across Ireland can benefit from this vital screening programme.
Well done to everyone involved — community spirit at its very best. 💙
