⚪ Another GAA Week Down… ⚪ Another week wrapped — boots flying, bibs missing, and enough chaos to keep a whole parade entertained. The pitches were packed, the fixtures are piling up, and chaos is spreading faster than a leprechaun chasing a pot of gold — and the poor coaches are just trying to survive another week!”☘️🤣

Senior Men Garry Cup Round 1 Kildysart 0-11 Doonbeg 0-12
Our U13, U15 and U17 Boys, along with our U12 Girls, all lined out for challenge games at the weekend as they gear up for the 2026 season . There were sharp touches, hard work, and teamwork galore…mixed with the usual early‑season madness:
Our U11s and U9s were back in action with an early‑morning trip to Kilmihil — kids bouncing with energy, parents clutching coffee, and chaos spreading faster than a loose football. Pure club spirit! 🌅🤣🏐
A brilliant week of preparation all round — every team settling back in, every coach juggling chaos, and the season gearing up faster than a loose solo run down the wing! 🏐💙

Healthy Clubs Update We took a spin to Dublin last week for the Healthy Clubs Orientation Day in Croke Park — setting off at what felt like the crack of dawn, but well worth it. We picked up great ideas and plenty of inspiration, and we’ll be forming a Healthy Clubs group shortly to drive this forward in the community. 💙
Player Updates Fair play to the lads making the Clare teams — pure pride for the club! We’ll be seeing plenty of them in saffron and blue… once we can catch them long enough for a photo! 💛💙🤣

📣 That’s a Wrap for the Week! 📣 A busy one in the books — matches, blitzes, and more lost water bottles than a St Patrick’s Day parade has shamrocks. 😅🏐 And with the big day around the corner, we’re sham‑rocking our way through the chaos! 🍀🍀
📢 A gentle reminder… Please reply on ClubZap to all team communications.
The poor coaches are drawing up three different training plans every night — one for the “Yes” crowd, one for the “No” crowd, and one for the “Sure‑look‑it‑might‑depend‑on‑the-weather” squad. 😂📱
If we missed anything, you know where to find us — somewhere in a sea of shamrocks, trying to organise the week with more luck than a St Patrick’s Day parade marshal. 😂🍀🇮🇪✨
👨🏫 Coach Quote of the Week “Lads, please lock up after training/Gym Sessions
if you don’t, the blame starts moving faster than a solo run. Gate left open? ‘Ah sure the coach must’ve done it.’ A football spotted rolling down the main street at 7am? ‘Yep… must be the coach again.’ Amazing how the blame can sprint when the locks don’t!” 😂🔐🏐
