⚪ Another GAA Week Down… ⚪ Another whirlwind week wrapped up — games, training, Féiles, and great to have all ages back on the field from our U6s & U7s right through to our adult teams. And yes… our energetic small ones are finally back — the coaches’ real fun begins now! 😅👏
And of course, no GAA week would be complete without an unnecessary trip to a water‑logged pitch… just for the adventure! 🌧️🚗
Apologies for the inconvenience to parents - this one was out of the clubs control, but thankfully the points were awarded. Sure a bit of drama keeps things interesting, sure if there’s no drama, is it even GAA?😄⚪

Our U15 Girls took part in the Division 3 Féile on Bank Holiday Monday, where they faced Newmarket, Kilmihil and Kilmurry Ibrickane in a busy and enjoyable day of football.
The girls played some excellent football throughout the day and can be very proud of their performances and effort.
They opened the Féile against Newmarket, putting in a strong display but just coming up short on a scoreline of 1‑4 to 3‑5. They bounced back superbly in their next two games with a 0‑6 to 1‑1 win over Kilmihil, followed by an impressive 5‑2 to 0‑1 victory over Kilmurry Ibrickane.
Newmarket went on to top the group and progressed to the final later that day in Clooney‑Quin, where they were crowned Division 3 Féile winners. A huge thank you to the girls’ coaches Kevin, Niamh and Edel for their commitment, preparation and support throughout the Féile — the work being done with this group is clear to see
Sincere thanks also to all all the parents and volunteers who helped make the day such a success — from supplying buns, cakes and scones to helping out throughout the venue. Plenty of coffee was enjoyed, and special thanks to our scoreboard operators, who kept everyone informed and on track all day.
A great day all round — well done to our U15 girls and everyone who helped behind the scenes 👏
Our U9s were out in full force at the weekend, living their best football lives ⚪😂

Player Updates
Hard luck to Isabelle Garry, who togged out with the Clare U14s in the Munster C Final last Sunday. It wasn’t their day, but we are very proud 💙💛
Well done to the boys below, keeping parents clocking up the miles and living out of the car this weekend! 🚗😅 They came home with a brilliant 3‑14 to 0‑4 win in Seán Treacy Park, Tipperary — worth every mile! 👏⚽ Alex Garry, Andrew Watson, Aaron Connelly, William Neenan
Well done to Robbie Kelly and Siney Neenan, who lined out again at 11 and 3 respectively for the Clare Minors. The lads were part of a great 0‑14 to 1‑10 victory over Limerick — a fine performance, well done to both! 💪⚽ They now face Tipperary on Monday, 13th April in Quilty, with a 7pm throw‑in, in Round 3. Best of luck
Also, well done to Cillian Kelly, who was part of the Clare U20 panel that played out a draw with Cork last night. The lads now face Waterford on Thursday 16th in Quilty in the next round. Best of luck! 💛💙

📣 Coach Quote of the Week 📣 “Lads — mouthguards belong in your mouth. Not in your sock. Not in your gear bag. Not in the car. And definitely not hanging out of your mouth like a fashion accessory. Also… if you’ve ‘lost’ one, check the washing machine, the driveway, or your Mam’s pocket — because we’ve all been there.” 😅😬🏐
