A busy week lies ahead for the club!
Unfortunately, we came up short in two finals over the last week, but we have another final tonigt as our Senior Men take on Ennsitymon in the O'Gorman Cup Final. Best of luck to the players and management – we're all behind ye! πŸ’™
Our U12s kicked off their campaign last night, while our Minor Girls begin their Championship journey next week. We also have a fun-filled week ahead with the CΓΊl Camps in Coolmeen, where plenty of our young players will be honing their skills and making great memories - there is still time to sign up check it out on the CΓΊl Camps Website
A quick note on the playing field – the recent heatwave has left the pitch crying out for water! β˜€οΈπŸŒ± We are doing our best to keep it in good condition and have been watering daily, but if the dry spell continues, we may be looking for volunteers to help out on a rota basis. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. And don't forget our neighbours in Coolmeen, who are hosting their annual Peadar Clancy Festival this weekend. If you get a chance, please support the festival and the many volunteers who work hard to make it such a great community event.

Player Update
πŸ‘ Well done to our U9 boys, who had the fantastic opportunity to play in Zimmer Biomet Cusack Park at the weekend.
There was some lovely football on display, with great skill, teamwork and effort shown by all involved. Days like these are what young players dream about, and it was brilliant to see them representing their club so proudly.
Who knows what the future holds, but if they keep enjoying their football and working hard, we might just see a few of them wearing the Clare jersey in years to come! πŸ’™πŸ’›

🌊🏐 Currach Club Mystery on the Shannon! 🏐🌊
While taking in the sights along the Shannon last night, the Currach Club spotted a lone circular object drifting in the distance. Visions of a rare marine discovery, a lost buoy, or even an unexplained Shannon phenomenon were quickly dashed when Eimear rowed closer...
It was one of the club footballs! πŸ˜‚The big questions now are:
❓ Which coach forgot to count the footballs at the end of training?
❓ And more importantly, who in the name of Mick O'Connell kicked it hard enough to send it on a solo journey to Aughinish?
Current investigations suggest:
It wasn't a handpass.
  • The wind may have assisted.
  • One of the forwards is being questioned. If anyone is missing a football, please contact the Currach Club Lost & Found Department before it reaches Kerry and lines out for their county team! 🀣🏐

πŸ† All-Ireland Ticket Draw Update πŸ†
Congratulations to our two lucky club members who were successful in the draw for the All-Ireland Hurling Final tickets. We hope ye have a fantastic day out and enjoy what promises to be a great occasion in Croke Park!
Thank you to everyone who entered the draw.
For those already asking about the All-Ireland Football Final, the club is currently awaiting confirmation on our ticket allocation. Once we know how many tickets we will receive, details of a members' draw will be announced.
Keep an eye on our social media channels for updates

πŸ“’ A Reminder to All Members πŸ“’
As the season continues and activity around the club remains busy, we'd like to remind everyone of a simple but important message:
Give Respect, Get Respect.
Whether you're a player, coach, parent, referee, volunteer or supporter, we all have a part to play in creating a positive environment for everyone involved in our club.
Please remember: πŸ’™ Respect the referees
 πŸ’› Respect teammates and opponents
πŸ’™ Respect our coaches and volunteers
 πŸ’› Respect fellow supporters
πŸ’™ Respect our club facilities and grounds
The values we show on the sidelines are just as important as those we show on the field.
Let's continue to support, encourage and represent Kildysart GAA in the best way possible.
Give Respect. Get Respect. It's as simple as that. πŸ’™
