Kildysart Ladies Ready for the 2026 Championship Campaign 💙
Clare LGFA officially launched the 2026 Adult Championship last night in Cooraclare, with a special acknowledgement of the rich history of Ladies Gaelic Football in Clare. The launch marked 100 years since the first recorded ladies football match took place in Cloonreddan in 1926 – a fitting tribute to the pioneers who helped shape the game we enjoy today.
Kildysart was proudly represented on the night by Kyla Foley.
Following their successful Junior B Championship victory in 2025, our Adult Ladies now step up to Junior A Championship football for 2026. With just five teams competing and only one second team involved, every game promises to be a competitive and challenging contest.

The top four teams will progress to the Semi-Finals on 27 September, with the Championship Final currently scheduled for 10 October.
