Another week done, and what a week it was... one that won't be forgotten in a hurry! There were plenty of highs, memorable performances, and moments that reminded us what our club is all about.
As we move into another week, many of our players continue to balance school, homework, training, matches and everything else that comes with this time of year. A huge well done to all our players, coaches, parents and volunteers who keep things ticking along both on and off the field.
Excitement is also building off the pitch as preparations continue for our upcoming Development Draw. This draw will play a vital role in helping us further enhance our facilities, including plans for a new community gym extension

🏐 U14 Boys GAA Championship Update 🏐
Our U14 boys have earned a bye straight into the Championship Semi-Final 👏
With three teams ending level on points, a draw conducted by Coiste na nÓg was required to determine the placings. Thankfully, luck was on our side and the lads secured the bye straight into the semi-final, avoiding the quarter-final round. 👏

What a campaign it has been for our Kildysart/Coolmeen U17s! 👏 After a fantastic championship campaign, the lads finished top of the table and have earned the reward of a home Championship Semi-Final.

🏐💙 Our U6 Stars Take Centre Stage! 💙🏐
Our U6s had a fantastic day on Saturday when they took to the field at Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg at half-time and got the chance to showcase their skills on the big stage. 🌟 The boys gave it everything, played with huge enthusiasm and, most importantly, had the time of their lives out on the pitch. Seeing their smiles and excitement was what it was all about! Of course, no great day out would be complete without a few treats afterwards, and they were a huge hit with the players. 🍭🍬😃 Coach John came prepared, making sure the boys got the sugar boost they needed after leaving absolutely everything out on the field! 😆 A big thank you to all the coaches, parents and supporters who continue to encourage our youngest players. To say the village is proud would be a massive understatement. When the two-point score was introduced, nobody could have imagined that one small village would be heading to a Senior Championship Semi-Final with those scores playing such a huge part in the journey. But that's exactly where we are.. Yes, we had the wind, but wind alone doesn't score points. That takes courage, confidence, accuracy and belief. Emmet showed all of those qualities in abundance, kicking score after score when they mattered most. And then came the moment. With the game hanging in the balance and hearts in mouths around the field, our captain Luke McGrath stepped forward. He backed himself, trusted his ability, and produced a two-pointer that will live long in the memory of everyone lucky enough to witness it. As the ball sailed over the bar, the roar from the Kildysart support said it all. But this victory wasn't won in one kick. While the scores will grab the headlines, this was a victory built on far more than that. The work rate, defending, teamwork, determination and belief shown by every player was outstanding. It was won through the belief built over countless training sessions and the commitment shown by the entire panel and management team throughout the year
As the players walked off the pitch, they were met with a standing ovation from the Kildysart faithful. It wasn't just for winning a game, it was recognition of the effort, sacrifice and commitment shown by this group throughout the year. The pride in the village was clear for all to see, and every player should be immensely proud of what they have achieved. 🏐
A place in the Senior Championship Semi-Final has been earned, and everyone connected with the club should be incredibly proud.
