20/05/2023: Kildysart Junior Men had an important win last evening as they beat Moy on the road 1-12 to 1-8. Moy were the first to raise the green flag early in the first quarter but Kildysart retaliated quickly with a goal attempt from Colm Finucane, only to have it saved on the goal line. However, Liam Finn found the net towards the closing stages of the half to give Kildysart a 1-8 to 1-3 lead at the break. The second half was a pretty even affair giving Kildysart a comfortable win 1-12 to 1-8.

The win is enough to secure the Juniors a semi-final spot in Division 7 league. Kildysart, having played their last round-robin match, is currently in joint first on 8 points with Doora Barefield who have a game in hand. Miltown is on 6 points but have 2 games left to play but Kildysart is guaranteed at least a third-place finish. Well done to the team and management.
